Geoff Aisbitt – BAB Lead Safeguarding Officer
I started my Aikido career back in 1988 with the Aikido Union England, and moved associations to the Kobukan Aikido Association in 1991 and obtained my Shodan in both Aikido and Aiki-Jitsu in 1993.
In 2007 I formed the Kogusoku Aikido Association which is a member of Seijitsu Aikido Ryu with Shihan Terry Bayliss.
I currently hold the grade of Sandan in Aiki-Jitsu and Godan in Aikido. I have run both adult’s and children’s aikido classes for over 15 years and have enjoyed every class.
My full time employment at present is that of a fire safety advisor with a NHS Trust. During the 10 years with the NHS I have attended numerous Children and Vulnerable Adult safeguarding courses.
