Information for Parents & Carers
Parents and carers should find all BAB clubs welcoming and friendly.
Usually there will be a main instructor in charge of the class. The club should also have someone designated for child safeguarding – usually called a Club Welfare Officer.
There must always be at least two adults involved in running the class (the instructor and perhaps a helper or another coach).
All coaches should have a BAB coaching qualification, and if they are running a regular junior class they should also have a criminal records check.
You should be able to ask questions, sit and watch and stay while your child participates in the class (if that is what you and your child want).
